The right source before the next step.

MOM rules, fees and services move. Use this page to find the official source before you apply, renew, issue or advise on a work pass.

AIS can help explain the route and prepare the case. MOM remains the official source for current eligibility, fees, forms, processing and transaction requirements.

Pass routes

Start with the pass.

The right MOM page depends on what you are trying to do. Start with the pass route, then move to the detailed eligibility, application and renewal pages within it.

Eligibility and frameworks

Check the route before the offer.

Eligibility is not just a salary question. The current EP framework combines the qualifying salary with COMPASS unless the application is exempt, and employers must also meet the applicable fair-consideration requirements.

04 / ELIGIBILITY EP eligibility and COMPASS

Check the two-stage framework, qualifying salary, COMPASS criteria, exemptions and the Self-Assessment Tool.

Salary thresholds, benchmark tables, exemptions, fees and service processes can change. AIS guidance explains the route, but it does not replace the current MOM position.

Applications and transactions

Use the right service.

MOM separates information pages from transaction services. Use the page below that matches the action you need to take rather than relying on an old form or an old bookmark.

Fees and planning

Confirm the number.

Government charges and professional fees are different things. Check the official MOM fee position, then read the AIS fee guide for what our professional service includes and which routes are priced separately.

10 / GOVERNMENT FEES Employment Pass fees

Check the current MOM application, issuance and other government charges for the pass route.

The practical next step

Bring the source to the case.

MOM pages tell you the current rule and transaction route. AIS helps employers interpret the route against the role, salary, company profile, candidate evidence and timing before the application is submitted.

When a decision depends on current facts.

Check the relevant MOM page first, then send AIS the role, salary, employer context and candidate information that needs to be assessed.

Official source note

Keep the source current.

This page is a navigation aid, not a substitute for the official MOM requirements. Links were reviewed on 12 September 2026. Always check the live MOM page before relying on a threshold, fee, form or process.
